We offer both! All of our group and 1-on-1 classes are available online via live interactive video — real-time instruction, questions, and discussion, just like a classroom without the commute. We also offer in-person sessions at our Frisco, TX location for local families. Whether you're nearby or across the country, we have a format that works for you. Sessions are scheduled at consistent times each week so families can plan around them.

Our group programs are intentionally kept small — typically 5 to 10 students per session. This is not a recorded lecture or a large webinar. Every student is seen, heard, and called on. If your child needs even more individualized attention, we also offer 1:1 private coaching in 60-minute or 90-minute sessions.

We offer both pathways, and this is one of the things that makes Master the Concepts different. For parents who want their child to strengthen mastery of grade-level standards aligned to their school's curriculum, we cover that too like Texas curriculum. For parents who want their child to go deeper — building advanced problem-solving skills through the Art of Problem Solving approach — we offer that too. Life happens. If your child misses a session, we will work with you to ensure they don't fall behind. Depending on the program, this may include a makeup session, access to session notes, or access to a recorded video of the session. We ask that you notify us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Most tutoring services focus on helping students complete homework or prepare for a specific test. That is not what we do. At Master the Concepts, the goal is conceptual understanding — making sure your child knows why something works, not just how to get the right answer on this week's assignment.

A good rule of thumb: if your child is comfortable with fractions, decimals, and basic operations but is starting to hit a wall around more complex multi-step equations challenges — Pre-Algebra is likely the right fit. If they are still building confidence with core arithmetic, multiplication, division, or basic word problems, Foundational Math will give them the solid base they need before moving forward.
